If anyone gets 2 mins give Bad Education by Blue Orchids a spin.
The ramshackle, pavement, melodic slacker thing was perfected in Manchester 1982.

One of the best on here for sure :D
Have still yet to venture beyond their first three albums but "Half a Canyon," "Grounded," and "Pueblo" are all up there as some of my favorite Pavement songs I've heard
|
| |
Grounded is top tier yeah, Father to a Sister of Thought is prob one of my faves here too. Brighten the Corners is a quality album too dude, don't miss out on that one. Terror Twilight isn't as essential but it's a great listen too if you're a fan of their other stuff.

Quarantine The Past is a nearly perfect collection of Pavement, only thing i wish is that it had more of this album on it (maybe Rattled By The Rush, We Dance, or AT&T). At least Grounded and Fight This Generation made their way on it

Agreed with earlier zak quip about pavement lifting heavily from blue orchids, and also the fall.. but this thing is a beauty all on its own
