i used to be sort of irked by "visiting friends" and the last trio but idk it just grew on me. the former in particular is just perfection. you'rrrreeee viiisssiiittttiiiiiinnngggg
the "pop" songs on this are among their most brilliant and then augh the rest of it is perfect too. "mouth wooed her" is just genius, i sing/scream along to that like such a loser
one of my favesies, the mood obviously strives for that "childish"/"tribal" thing so many people ascribe to animal collective but just absolutely gets it, to the point where throwing cliches onto the album is reductive because the music behind it is just so good.
