Closest thing i ever listened to (and ORIGINAL is what this album is) was Ved Buen Ende. But it's has no saxophone and less band members. Every track here is baking me high.

I listened to remastered version, i can honestly say that original version sounds a lot rawer than remaster. For those whose is seeking remaster, dont bother.

I don't know what you guys are talking about, production is fine. Not as clean as future LPs but the mix is balanced and the master is still pretty dynamic. Some guitar tones are so gritty it sounds like they came out of Norway in 1992

It sounds pretty good. Musicianship is ace but the production definitely leaves something to be desired. Whether or not it was within the band's ability to master it better isn't something I can comment on, but even as a huge motW fanboy I don't think it sounds particularly great.

Except for Blight of River Systems, that song rips.

Rating is way too low for this on here. This is easily as good as Bath/Leaving. The production isn't even that bad.

I wouldn't necessarily disagree, this gets better every time I jam it.

I would say that Bath/Leaving are better but I can see where someone would make the argument for this.

this could have been the best metal album ever had it been stripped of the prog metal elements

mmm bossa nova metal. Only issue here is that many of the progy death metal riffs sound underdeveloped.
