Holy shit i used to think this album was just ok but after getting extremely ripped and listening to it again, it's actually their best work instrumentally. They use so many different speed picking patterns and the songs just come together so well.

The first Lamb of God i listened to was this album, and i loved it. After hearring As the Palaces Burn i didnt like this one as much. But now after listening to the entire album again a few times i realized that instrumentally this is Lamb of God's best work.

lamb of god are one of the most talented bands gettin around today this album is brutal i thought it was awesome i rate it 10/10 and a little fact randy (lead singer) of lamb of god was a chef before he got into the business

Lamb of God is the best new American metal band out there they can play way better then most bands will ever be able to. The harmony guitar parts done by Willie and Mark really show off how good they are. If you dont like constant double bass in songs wtf are you doin listening to metal then? Go pick up this cd is worth the money and i also recommend getting Killadelphia becuz it shows more then just a concert.

No, all the songs sound the same. Its always the same chug kind of guitar riff. The singer's voice is ok but it gets annoying after a while. Laid To Rest is a pretty good song though.

You be wrong. Each song uses a DIFFERENT chug guitar riff. If you closely listen to the songs and pic out these riffs, it makes the album 1000% better when listening to it.

I like this album. But it does get a bit boring after awhile. The first 4 songs are really good and thhen the album turns into crap until the last 2 songs. This album seems a bit over produced to. I still think ATPB is their best.

To be honest I thought that was a pretty poor review. It sounds to me like you don't know what your talking about with your comments on the drumming and "chugga chugga" guitar riffs. There aren't many bands coming up with music half as creative or skillful as this. LOG is one of the best metal acts today.

THIS ALBUM WAS SWEET. CHRIS ADLER'S DRUMMING WAS AMAZING . "LAID TO REST", "HOURGLASS", "NOW YOU GOT SOMETHING TO DIE FOR", AND "ASHES OF THE WAKE" WERE THE BEST SONGS ON THERE. LOVE THE ALBUM.
