There is definitely some thought put into the music, and in no way would I say any of them are bad musicians, but I've listened to this album on three separate occasions and each time I've had the same reaction; That all the songs sound the same and other than just listening to it for the heck of it, I found no enjoyment in listening like I do several other albums in like genres.

I know what you mean, but for me it doesn't come off quite the same way. The album's mood pretty much never changes, but I happen to really like its mood so no complaints from me. Plus, imo the songs are really catchy, I can never get the vocal hooks out of my head when I listen to them.

This is one of the best albums ever created. There is nothing boring about it. This is coming for dudes who listen to Linkin Park probably. Granted Volta is amazing. Anthony Green is the MAIN artist of Circa Survive. He makes the band. So if you aren't a fan you won't like Circa, bottom line. The man has phenomenal voice, and above par lyric writing skills.

I can even understand giving this a 5, but I think it's a little bit shortsighted to say this is one of the best albums ever created. I mean, have you heard some of the albums that have been created? There are some pretty fucking good ones out there...
