@purpledrank
whatt really, hes the most entertaining part for me. The only part he kills it for me is that "drop that science" part in 7th chamber, it just sounds bad.
|
| |
yeah tru i guess his voice is too dirty and rugged for me, and he ruins the whole feeling of 'Protect ya neck' and just looks bad compared to ghostface, gza and raekwon.
|

protect ya neck is the best song i thinks

it's uncensored on their greatest hits package

I think it was censored because it was their first single

This album is a classic no matter how you look at it, but it's very inconsistent, going from great tracks like C.R.E.A.M to less creative areas. Liquid Swords is the height of the Wu-Tang legacy.

I'd put Liquid Swords right below this. But I can understand someone going the other way.
|
| |
liquid swords is just barely better
protect ya neck sounds better censored imo

You nailed it. Liquid Swords is a thinking man's hip-hop album. While this album has instances of that also, it also

the only song i could see someone saying is average is Tearz and that's only because it just gets trumped by the slew of
classics that preceded it
plus the gritty production is what MAKES this album for me

the production is arguably the best part of the album. it's so analog sounding.

rza's production is perfect

The production is perfect for the album, couldn't be done much better.
