(...) some of Holland's best work.

HAH no way. 80's Priest never had interesting drumming, but at least Holland changed it up a little but. This one just repeats the same drum rhythm in almost every track it's ridiculous

^I know what you mean, it's just that the drums are pretty loud and fast on this. Never meant to say that Holland's work stood a chance against, say, Nicko McBrain.

70's Priest had far more interesting drumming, no question about that.

Even at that, I think Holland did a better job on Venegeance and British Steel. I'm tempted to say he also did good on Ram It Down, but that was mostly a drum machine, so can't really give him proper credit for that

I'm having a hard time between the 70's Priest drummers, since all were pretty skilled.

John Hinch was pretty average, imo.

If I were to rank Priest drummers:

Phillips > Binks > Travis > Moore > Hinch = Holland

Yeah, Holland is easily the least outstanding.

A pity Philips only worked on Sin After Sin.

But, in any case, I'd probably take all the 70's Priest drummers over Travis and Holland.

The only Priest albums with impressive drumming are SWoD through Stained Class

The drumming on Sin After Sin adds A LOT to the music. Sinner, Dissident Aggressor, the final segment of Raw Deal, shit that's some good fucking drumming

Things I Like:

Jawbreaker fucking rules through the verses

The Sentinel also rules

Night Comes Down riffs bassline and chorus all rule

Things I Dislike:

Freewheel Burning has a lol chorus

Rock Hard Ride Free has a lol chorus

Some Heads Are Gonna Roll has a lol chorus

Things I am indifferent to:

Eat Me Alive

Love Bites

Turn on your light the super ballad

Heavy Duty like an outtake from British Steel
