It's possible Drowning Pool could have turned into one of the bigger bands of nu-metal's third wave but when Dave died they never managed to get out of second gear. It'll always be one of those "could-have-beens". As it is they'll never top this album.

Unpopular opinion but I think the 2nd album was slightly better because of better lyrics, I gave this an extra point for Dave Williams great vocals r.i.p.
Drowning could have been a very good band if he was around longer

What if "Let The Bodies Hit The Floor" and "It's Raining Men" are the same event from a different perspective?

I re-ordered my favorite songs into a Sinner EP tracklist with its own unique energy flow:
1. Sinner
2. Reminded
3. Pity
4. Mute
5. Bodies
6. Sermon
7. Tear Away
Only thing I don't like as much is the transition from Bodies to Sermon, but I really like Tear Away as the final track and Sinner to Reminded is also pretty sick.

Still can’t believe we lost Dave Williams after one album.
The dude could have gone on to front some amazing projects with those vocals.

This album plays it safe, it's just decent nu metal, a little disappointed after the single Bodies, that was a cracker! Opening track is a win. Album drags it's feet after a while.

sucks that Bodies became the big hit, Tear Away is a legit classic. If only they maintained that quality they could have been bigger. I guess the singer dying didn't help. RIP. Tear Away is so fucking underrated, it's up there with all the nu-metal classics
