Limousine creeped up on me during itunes shuffle so I decided to listen to the rest of the album (a couple times) and realized that it had grown on me.

a 5 for me, this album is constantly in my cd player at home.
Brand new have always been a favourite band of mine and when i first heard the devil and god are raging inside me i was amazed at how mature they had become.
Jesse Lacey's lyrics are quite similar to Deja Entendu however he's become more serious and more blunt with what he's trying to express throughout 'the devil and god..'
This album has something that Deja Entendu lacks.

I haven't listened to this in almost six months, and I came back to it today and it is still awesome. I don't know if it would ever get bumped to a 5, but it's still close.
As for "Your Favorite Weapon", I'd have to disagree... it's far too generic.

Just a HAIR worse than Deja Entendu, which is a classic for me. DE will be hard for them to ever top.

Great Review. I rarely agree with nearly everything a reviewer says, but I can say I'm totally with you all the way here. This album is one of the best of our generation. Amen.

It's really really good. Idk whether its your style because I know you're a huge "thrash junkie" if you will. :P but its definitely worth checking out, especially if you liked deja entendu. Jesse Lacey is a master of his craft and writes some of the best lyrics I've ever come across.

get it for sure.
this took some time for it to grow on me at first, but I love it now.
