My problem with this album is that it's a 3.5 except for Paranoid Android, which is a 5.

Cugno has made some excellent points here and I now have even more respect for him. Top 5 user no doubt.

Always found Kid A to be the better album personally, but need to give it another spin. For a 4.6 average, this can get pretty boring in parts.

Yeah I remember my first time listening to this album, well aware of the hype, and being pretty disappointed at how slow a lot of it is? Since then I've come to appreciate it for what it is, but it's so front-loaded with Airbag and Paranoid Android, after which you get... quite literally 5 slow tracks in a row, and then Electioneering, and then 4 more slow tracks lol. They're all beautiful mind you, but the pacing of this thing has always kept it from being a 5.

Kid A, on the other hand, isn't outside of the realm of being called "boring" but is perfectly paced from the start. And it ramps up the excitement as it goes. It's easy to see why Thom and co. got really burnt out from the alt rock formula post-OK computer.

I'd rate it higher if it wasn't for this string of songs which I don't really care for

6. Karma Police 7. Fitter Happier 8. Electioneering

All in all tracks 1-5 is a 5/5, 6-12 3.5/5

This is my least favorite 4 out of all my 4s. Probably wouldn't even be my favorite 3.5

Heh, I just removed all Radiohead from my playlist. It was a strange, liberating feeling.
