A better closer than street spirit but as a stand alone tune it’s not as good.
Testament to the fact an album is a package of themes, flow, moments and cause for pause.
It’s why darkside is probably the best of all time.

it's just as good outside the context of the album

Top review of the most famous hipster album ever and it's a song-by-agonizing-song listicle hack job. Sputnik you should be ashamed.

Listicle, nice

Is this really the biggest hipster album though? I always thought that honor was bestowed upon IN THE AEROPLANE OVER THE SEA.

Aeroplane isn't even that well known outside of /mu/ type communities
Radiohead in general is pretty quintessentially hipster, esp after quintessential hipster outfit Pitchfork jizzed over them for years when their media influence was at its peak

calling this hipster at all is a stretch - massive mainstream plaudits. when i was concerned about such matters the hipster choice was Amnesiac

anco is more of a hipster band esp meme album which is far from their best :^)

Let Down is probably my favorite song by anyone. Seeing them play it live about two years ago was like a religious experience for me.

tbf i see ledd's point, but the nuance is that radiohead nourished hipsterism and not the other way around (as opposed to anco etc lmao)
