Ya Alaska rules, prob a better place to start than this.

Also, I wasn't sayin that this disc doesn't bring the grooves, cause damn son!

Jed, that is exactly right. It isn't very groovy, and most of the time quite the opposite. So what

do you guys do when you listen to it? Just sit there analyzing it? You can't head bang to it, and it

certainly isn't pleasing in the same way radiohead is pleasing. So what is the point? To be all "ooh

technical, out of the ordinary scales and riffs! this is good because it is unique."

When I listen to this album, I am able to sort of get into it, but then when a normal verse comes on

I literally think to myself, what the fuck is this nonsense? I swear there is no other band that

makes me question why I am even listening as much as Buried. Most of the time I don't understand why

most of what is on this album was even recorded.

So, what do I expect it to be? I expect it to be enjoyable, and it isn't. I wish I knew how you guys

are able to thoroughly enjoy this album. There are a few great moments that justify my 3, but the

bulk is really bad.

Could you just skip to 3:55 on track 1 and tell me what you think? That pretty much defines the crap

that I hear in this album. If you enjoy that then so be it.

Tommy's vocals on Alaska rule, a few parts on here are grating but for the most part they're great.

What the fuck do any of you know about structure? It's core, which means a beginning and end with lots of riffs in between.

Spaceman, you're right. And that leads us to page '69, the year when we first landed on the moon and also something else.

Well, Jazz doesn't have much structure, but it is still enjoyable because it flows so well. This has little to no flow.

This argument sounds very opinionated if you ask me. If you don't like this or between the buried and me that's fine, throwing in excuses to put the music down is bullshit

Jazz has structure, c'mon.

I just don't like this because the vocals are horrendous and I find this to be rather boring.

Jazz isn't based off typical song structure it's based off flow, it's just not chorus verse chorus bridge bullshit and neither is this, I'm not trying to compare this to jazz though
