say what you will about nietzsche, Beyond Good and Evil has ten times the clout as a title as this clutch

Twilight of the Idols (Or How To Philosophize With a Hammer) and Ecce Homo are also pretty awesome titles

“most edgy metal title ever, actually am baffled by the choice, it's like they're 17 or something” it’s not when you read the lyrics and realise it’s supposed to be a metaphor for society’s abandonment of religion, effectively “cutting the throat” of God

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Ulcerate. The lyrics are extremely complex and without a solid grasp of the Fibonacci sequence most of the words will go over a typical listener's head

reminds me I still need to check the lyrics on this

You have to have a very high iq to understand Ulcerate’s lyrics so all those that rated this album less than a 5 should give up on the prospect of reading their lyrics

I'm high enough IQ to understand the futility in attempting to unearth any meaning or nuance in death metal lyricism. In the vast majority of instances I can barely make anything out, so instead of reading along I just use my imagination (which is very advanced of course). My philosophical musings make for a poignant accompaniment way beyond whatever nonsense these posers could conjure. I should make notes next time. Maybe I will share

You have to be nothing short of an absolute prodigal genius to understand an ulcerate album. The lyricism is masterfully poignant and supremely thought-provoking. The instrumentation is only to be digested by those whose IQ is around 240 or higher and possess an intricate and nuanced understanding of life, the universe, and everything. Their song structures are only to be understood and dissected by those who have achieved an intimate understanding of astrophysics and other stuff. Many people have tried to represent the profound, unyielding greatness contained in a record by these gentlemen in words, some in the form of reviews on the music website sputnikmusic dot com; however, the words ultimately fall short of conveying the absolute life-altering brilliance of an Ulcerate record.
In other words, album rules

yeah newg I took it at face value without delving too deep, but thanks for the free diss, I'll take a slap on the side as well please for being ignorant enough not to read the lyrics of an almost completely indescernible vocalist.
