That wasn't my point MrSirLordGentleman although I've seen some nags about that statement before.

As I said, at least for me the main problem with the album is that Halford just abuses of his high pitched vocals, which I freaking love but it really gives me a headache in here

Instrumentation is good but it also feels kinda excessive sometimes

i don't think this is the best priest album but it's sincerely metal as fuck and that makes it a really fun listen.

@MrSirLord I think a part of that problem may be the fact that his vocals are the highest thing in the mix so I can get what you're saying. That plus he is over the top all over this thing although I've grown a lot of appreciation for over-the-top vocals, falsetto or no falsetto. I guess a nasally witch is the best way to describe his vocals here.

@Shadow My personal favorite is Stained Class.

I find those two albums interchangeable considering how perfect they are at what they do. I personally find Stained Class better because while it's more straightforward than Sad Wangs, it riffs harder and is probably their most diverse in lyrical content. The lyrics themselves aren't perfect, but the themes are cool. But I'll digress considering how amazing those albums are.

both are awesome, but I take Sad Wings since it has Victim, Dreamer Deceiver and Tyrant

Now that I remember, I still haven't checked Sin After Sin, I really should change that since it is the one that's supposed to be closer to Sad Wings and Stained

Nah but seriously, the 3.9 average doesn't do that album justice. Easily top 4 JP tbh

People bitching about this being cheesy and turning around and saying earlier Priest is better act like earlier Priest isn't cheesy.

Yes 70's Priest is cheesy, but it's the good kind of cheese.

yes took me a while to get old Priest or priest in general, I thought too cheesy, but somebody pointed out that is was supposed to be a total sell out, either way this is better than a 2, this should start at a 3.5, one of the best 90's metal album with very little argument
