I fail to see any Protest in this Frost, although admittedly I haven't heard all their material.

I called Protest similarities a few pages back before the thread went to shit
I think Keith sounds a bit like Roddy when he’s doing the maniacal bits and some of the clean singing, White Void for example could’ve been a hook on Palimpsest. Also the kind of riff driven breakdowns sound a bit like the less tech bits of PtH too imo
If you love this and never checked Palimpsest last year it’s absolutely not the same thing but you’ll likely dig it too

I'll check them out! I'm listening to The Chariot now. I'm trying to salvage the interesting things said in this thread

The Chariot's 'One Wing' is a great record.
Ah right Shemson, yeah I'm only familiar with Kezia / Fortress - somewhat mixed results, but I do generally dig the latter. Thanks.

@Shemson Yeah, I liked Palimpsest. All Protest the Hero records are 3,5 in my book. Pretty funny and consistent band, they just always lacked something to be more than funny for me. I can definitely hear a lot of PtH influence here.

after almost a minute of selfreflection i have decided i like this album a lot more when someone in this thread is melting down but this page is clean so far

I feel this is not so good nor so bad, I hear a great, funny, energic album with some hints of brilliance (Post-boredom is a banger for sure).

Post-Bordeom was an early big-hitter for me, I still dig it but it's fallen down the pecking order since. Not through any fault of it's own mind, (as the 2nd half in particular is gaining significant traction).
This is a wholesome thread now, there is no room for conflict.
