Idk about best but I'm really enjoying it. I'm at a weird place with my feelings on their sound though. On one hand I'm 100% down with the more clean-vocal focused songs with emphasis on vibes and synths and all that. On the other hand their heavy stuff has never been more boring, like straight up snooze worthy compared to their heavy material from the Mara days. The middle-ground songs, Jaded being the obvious example on this EP, are good, but have gotten extremely predictable. I wish their heavier stuff showed some imagination. Mike really writes basic bitch riffs for those tracks and it makes me sad.

Idk Mike's riffs on Angel Eyes are pretty fuckin sick. Dude can play but yeah he does rely on low tuned chugs a lot.

that is truly a spicy opinion. Only jammed once and I wasn't impressed but it will probably grow on me. Jaded is still the clear highlight from it
