Blood Incantation have the potential to be all time greats if they keep releasing albums like the ones they have out, but as of today, yeah, they are not S tier DM. I wouldn't say Starspawn is so far away from this though. It's one of the best DM albums I've heard in the last 20 years.

I do have starspawn 5d to be fair, it's a super sick record and BI's best. But this, psalms and probably chapters are all better imo

i actually do like blood incantation i just think they’re massively overrated because they perfected that specific aesthetic that gets the metal archives/ANUS/DMU posters rock hard.
they’ve always felt like a little too much style over substance.
