IA and Currents the heavy hitters... most likely listened to those 2 albums more than anything in 2021 and nothing even holds a candle to them but also, Kingdom of giants, lmtf LP, Polaris, if I were you, Tewers ai640 pt.3, and respire.
This year gave me DSHS, Silent Planet, Imminence, LMTF EP, ice nine, plot in you... aaand that might actually be it. I've never liked erra(current vocalist) and everything I've ever heard from Volumes was basically trash but I'm sure that's an unpopular opinion so I can't speak to those albums if ppl enjoyed them bands already.

A few announcements for you folks.
We are happy and proud of our drummer Trey getting an opportunity to join our friends as the new drummer of @fitforakingtx. To go on record - Trey is still a member of Invent Animate and always will be. The only change here is that he will be slamming tubs on tour with FFAK instead of us. Nothing changes, our goals will always include touring as much as possible.
Moving forward, in a few weeks all 4 of us will be locking ourselves in a cabin to finalize writing for our fourth full length record together. From there, we will be headed to the studio to lay it all down in February. The pandemic has provided us with an opportunity to put every bit of energy and planning into creating the purest IA album yet.
The creative minds involved with this record are the best of the best and we’re excited to share what we’ve been working on over the past 1.5 years. This record will go down as the most collaborative, creatively open and honest we have been as a band thus far.
We are excited for the opportunities the new year has for us, and fully intend to capitalize on them all.
