does anyone think hardcore/metal shows can be too loud? I love loud shows and even wear earplugs so it's not a problem with the volume. my main gripe is not being able to make out the music at times (mostly the vocals and guitars) because the bass/drums are so overpowering that everything becomes muddy, especially when it's that loud in a tiny venue.

Give me plugs or give me death

Tired of my ears ringing for days after shows. Not to mention the permanent damage it’s doing to you

Tbh i'm glad they do mostly solo shows in Europe, that lineup is not interesting to me personally

I didn't care much for unitytx's music but they had great energy and put on a good performance

had to bump this to a 5 after watching their Outbreak Fest set on youtube. I wasn't sure how some of these songs would translate live but holy fuck they do a fantastic job. I love this band so much.

oh I like you spartan but come on. I could write an essay on how they’re not even close to Deftones

shit maybe I will, it’s Saturday and I got nothing going on rn

That’s a bluff, I don’t have it in me. I’m sorry but to think these guys are better as doing what Deftones is doing is asinine. You could take the worst Deftones album (adrenaline) and it’s still better than this.

It’s good record, but for me they rely on all the djenty bullshit, and the songs that don’t do that are direct ripoffs of Deftones.

Which is fine! But to say that they do it better is a joke.

Lol dont worry im mostly baiting. Being from the same town as deftones, I understand their influence and greatness despite not being a huge fan of them.

That being said, Heavy is the Head is dope as fuck and something Deftones could never pull off

They should lean more in that direction imo
