I saw this debate gaining traction posted elsewhere so I wanna see what you guys think...
Melodrama is a great album, but it didn’t get snubbed for the Grammy in 2018, and neither did DAMN. 24K Magic fully deserved the Grammy that it won, when compared to that year’s competition.

Whenever I make that claim people are either like:
“HOLY FUCK HOW COULD YOU BE SO FUCKING TASTELESS YOU SOLD OUT FUCK HAVE YOU EVER FELT AN EMOTION IN YOUR LIFE???!?”
or like:

the singles from that album do very little for me (and i am super not a weirdo 'i hate singles' kind of person; i really like the ones here)
but i still like a lot of the stuff on PH! as i've mentioned elsewhere i'm really a sucker for the sort of bombastic antonoff pop on here which i can imagine other people having a little less enthusiasm for. there are no bad takes on which is better
