Yeah but when one of us.... hits its highs, they're fucking high; this just sits at a nice even level. It's still great, but I've listened to it so many times and nothing really grabs me like the rest of their discog.

As much as I enjoy Giraffe Tongue Orchestra and The Black Queen, I still can't shift the melancholy that this really is it for these guys. They hype circle over a new record has just become a tradition.

Worst dillinger aside from ire works imo. Not a totally disappointing farewell but after the hype wore off this ended up being pretty underwhelming.
Still, theres some super heady cuts off this thing i really like

I'm surprised to see the lack of love for Ire Works TBH...
Possibly difficult to talk about worst album when to me none of them even come close to poor or forgettable, even if OP doesn't resonate all that much by comparison.
