“That screamo guy” is Messed God and he makes this band that much better. New album is a strong 4. Reminds me a lot of DBM2... The Rattler is the most Secret Band-ish song by them and fuck its heavy as balls. Shelf Life with Kurt was just as good as I was hoping for too.

They refuse to grow up as musicians. They release an album per year of the same shit. They won't try anything new. Their fan base is incredibly annoying (not just on Sput, but in general).

okay first off boys, Jon Mess is a gift, without him, DGD would lose a big part of their identity.
second of all, people get aggressive when these guys drop a new album because the same reason with any album or band, some people cannot stand that people enjoy something they don't, imagine you hate pink floyd, for some people seeing others rate DSOTM 4/5 + makes their tiny dicks quiver with burning resentment for their much larger members.

So, Artificial Selection might legit be their best album. I understand that’s probably a recentcy bias, but it blows everything they’ve done before with Tilian out of the water, and even gives Happiness (their best album) a run for its money.
