Yep, but Persecution is closer to M16 though because it's got better production than Orange and overall does the heartless cold feeling of war better.

damn you're a wild dude let me tell ya

i guess if you like m16 because of how it captures the feeling of war that's cool, for me i just think the riffs are by and large weaker on that record than their 80s stuff or even tapping the vein, but it's still a great album

how do you feel about in the sign of evil

Reasons why I like M16 over the Orange and Persecution:

1. The vocal lines, lyrics and mannerisms are so good and convincing. Subtitle things like deeping his voice when the double bass kicks in and how hard he belts belts some parts I love. I'm a very vocal heavy person, and seeing less emphasis being put on the riffs and more on the choruses and vocal delievery really does it for me.

2. The concept of war is explored far more here, which I really dig and about imo a more interesting war than WW1 or 2.

3. No chorus is more awesome than Lead Injection's, that alone deserves a point.

As for In the Sign of Evil been like a year since I heard it so I need to re-listen to it, but wasn't much a fan when I heard it.

that's cool. i like it when people actually explain why they love shit

personally i'm the opposite of a vocal heavy person like as long as it's not radio pop bs it doesn't matter to me

so i prefer 80s sodom for the riffs and the atmosphere. what do you think of their s/t and in war and pieces?
