Lol. This album is fucking amazing. Fall from grace,brainstorm and day of suffering are all S tier morbid tracks. And most the others rip to. Unholy blasphemies,title track,thy kingdom come.... crazy good album.

Great album, but not on par with their best IMO. title track is my favorite here. It's their Revelations/Victim of changes-type epic and an incredible jam. I iwsh they would play that life (well first I wish that they would ever play live in Europe again...)

When they played in Thessaloniki, Greece in 2005, I somehow knew this was going to be their last concert for quite a while (if not ever…), and of course I attended.

I saw them in 2014 in Hamburg on their Covenant anniversary tour, it was a total blast! But didn't play much of the Tucker era. as I really love the Tucker era I was very disappointed when they cancelled their european tour for Kingdoms...

Not just fast, but also precise and brutal.

If I was to suggest to Morbid Angel a drummer that comes relatively close to Sandoval, I would say Ayloss from Spectral Lore/Mystras.

His drumming for the last Mystras album, was phenomenal.

Sure, but speed was his greatest attribute as, technically, there were a number of great drummers at that time. What separated him from his peers, besides speed, was his ride tempo.

Altars Of Madness might be their best and most influential album, but this one is my favorite effort from these legends. I love some of the interludes such as Desolate Ways and In Remembrance, they create a sinister tone. I really love the experimentation of Blessed Are The Sick, i feel it is a step up from their classic debut.

Also R.I.P. man. Your contributions to this community are priceless! Your passion, kindness and spirit will live on forever. I've known many people from my family and friends who suffered from addiction. It is a very tough battle...
