cos outside of here it isn't particularly regarded as a classic
4 of the 5 dudes I live with definitely regard this as a "classic" album and none of them are on sputnik. In general most people I know that have heard this consider it a really really good and important record.

yeah but, think of albums like The Shape of Punk to Come or Nevermind. Most people will instantly recognise those as defining moments in music and absolutely legendary records (even if they don't personally love them). Especially in media. I don't really see it with this, but maybe it's different in this country

Most everyone at my school thinks this album kind of blows. I know one person other than me who likes
it.

'Is it just a coincidence that so many people on this site love this album? cos outside of here it isn't particularly regarded as a classic'
been wondering on this myself. I mean, it got good (if not excellent) reviews on release, but it's not like it's regarded as a classic by many legit music sites outside of this one

ok fine we'll just take back Radiohead, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Pink
Floyd, Queen, The Rolling Stones, Motorhead, Judas Priest, The Who, Sex Pistols, The Clash, David
Bowie, The Police, The Cure, Venom, Napalm Death, Muse, Joy Division, Genesis, Yes, Talk Talk, Manic
Street Preachers, Mogwai, Oasis, Blur, Burial, Def Leppard, The Prodigy and pretty much the existence
of metal in the first place. np you didn't need any of them anyway
