I obviously havent listened closely enough, anyhow there's certainly not enough to consider them a djent band.

Well they don't USE djent and they don't play the same style of music as bands that get labelled djent so they aren't djent

In a way your statement makes it seem like emmure would be considered playing djent style. Need to re-word that big time.

Ok maybe I said it wrong but I hear that djent sound a lot when I hear this. They do a lot of the polyrythm chug shit that all these meshuggah rip offs do like after the burial and whoever. So aren't they somewhat djent?

There are a few djents (notably in Recreate, Follow the Signs and a few other songs) for a few moments, but overall, their style leans more towards prog-deathcore than djent.

And by a few "djents", I don't mean the chords necessarily, just polyrhythmic moments/Meshuggah moments/grooves.

Yea I guess. Idk all this genre shit is confusing and annoying anyway. I can't believe I find myself nitpicking about this labeling shit. It's pretty pointless. It's all metal at the end of the day.

Eh whatever. No biggie. Junz what's ur favorite track here? Mine is probably singularity. I love the keyboard on it. Reminds me of metroid or some shit. And the double bass blasting over it.... Pretty sick!

XIV+Behold is just a bit too long for its own good. An album like this should hit hard and fast; by the time it gets to there it starts to drag a bit.

Still great songs though.
