I honestly thought Tilian was better suited for Tides of Man, but I still think he's a great vocalist for DGD. Their new songs have sounded so good, and it sounds like Tilian finally fits in perfectly with their sound

This is by far the best DGD

This album is so bland compared to the new stuff. Tilian is best.

this album is only bland if you're the type of person who needs ' so random' rap versus and quirky voice filters in every song to enjoy your music
every member, especially guitarists and drummer, play off each other in an incredibly unique way they never really captured that magic after this.
Especially Tillian era dgd, Will just wanks with no real direction. The riffs sound like a green day song with more distortion

I say that about Happiness tbh

I was very close to saying that, despite hating that album, it was the only time it felt like they were passionate about writing, post dbm.
they were probably passionAte because it was a new direction, the irony is that I could not get into the new sound despite recognizing the cohesive writing.

I agree in that they sounded the most passionate about writing on Happiness. Happiness era was my favorite sound of theirs, I loved the crazy technical guitar riffs like in Carl Barker and NASA, Kurt's vocals soared over the music so well, and the album was so tight. What did you hate about it?

It just doesn't have that edge tho
there's only, maybe 2-3 songs that would move a crowd, you know?
