Or just maybe that it was on the staff list at #1 idk but yeah you're probably right it's probably some abstract pathetic fallacy thing.

I didn't say that =(

He was making an association between the weather and the album's Sputnik popularity. I think it's far more likely to be its appearance in the list whose banner dominates the top of the homepage...

It feels like a summer album to me. Lion In A Coma feels like something i would listen to if I were on a safari high on acid in shorts, tee shirt, and a deerstalker hat.

i think the consensus is that it's 'outside' music. but also, it's 2010 so this album doesnt exist

That's true, I can agree with gyro's summery summary.

But I feel it's the natural freedom the album has that makes it 'outside over inside' as opposed to 'summer rather than winter'

Wow man, listen to this; I was lying in bed yesterday. I couldn't sleep so I figured, let's listen to this album and see if it's REALLY that great. I mean everybody's talking about it, it must do something right... First track; meh. It was good but not what I was expecting... Second track.. Holy shit... I couldn't stop listening.

Oh man did I underhype this album. It's so poppy but so original at the same time. I can't really explain it but by the end of the album I had this superwide smile on my face like I smoked a few joints or something.

I even made an account on this site because of this experience.

Anand69, that's almost exactly how this album clicked with me... granted it took me almost half a year of neglecting it first, but tada.

You know, at first it just sounds like an overwhelming wall of sound. But it's really interesting to go through and listen to all of the different sounds that are creating the "wall of sound".

most of this album still bores the hell out of me, but goddam In the Flowers, My Girls, half of Bluish, Lion in a Coma and Brothersport are awesome.

oh yeah, Summertime Clothes is good, but I kinda overplayed it in the summer so now if I listen to the album I just feel meh towards it. I'm gonna review this shit, I've got an inkling to do it.
