There's a lot of great releases, but you don't seem like one to enjoy Indie much, so there's the problem ^

Releases such as Alligator (The National), Transatlanticism (Death Cab for Cutie), Frengers (Mew), I'm Wide Awake It's Morning (Bright Eyes) and many more, are great contestants for best album of the 00s.

My personal top 5 would probably be this, Alligator, In Rainbows, Songs for the Deaf (QotSA) and Lateralus (Tool), off the top of my head in no order.

there have been a lot of great releases, but nothing as godly as Kid A.

i checked some tool song and kinda liked it, but never checked the entire album.
