You know the one who still thinks integrity goes a long way when it comes to producing something.

"lol are you one of those people that can only jam shit if it's pristine and polished with no noise?"
Not really. Converge's albums are usually pretty noisy, but not so much that it ruins the experience. With
this album, the band purposely added a shit ton of noise, and it adds nothing musically. Naturally it is
displeasing. There is a reason why most producers try to eliminate noise.

sixdegrees, it is technically/literally original, but not original in a good way. I don't think technical
originality should automatically make an album better.
Zombicidal, an untouched recording doesn't have this much noise. It definitely was enhanced/added to a large
degree.

Be honest, it isn't that hard to come up with the idea of enhancing or adding extra noise to an album. You
already get noise before mastering anyway. So when I sarcastically said "how original," I meant it as in, it
is a pretty lazy method of making an album sound original, and rating 5/5 partially because of that is
stupid. My original feelings never changed whether you agreed with my wording or not.
Remember, the summary of review we are commenting on states that the distortion was basically the difference
between this being commercially successful and being superb. That is ridiculous. If you think a bland wall
of fuzz makes an album a classic rather than a 4/5 then you are out of your mind.

Be honest, it isn't that hard to come up with the idea of enhancing or adding extra noise to an album.
And so? Can you still name any album that came out prior to this that legitimately sounded like it?
And whatever the case, some people think the noise is aesthetically pleasing, is that so hard to understand for you?

This does have a lot of "noise" like recordings of bombs being added to one of the songs. At the same time, the guitar tracks on Sometimes and To Here Knows When really do sound that noisy, it's just the mixture of rack effects, pedals, and amps going on. Very little to do with "enhancing" noise levels after recording

Now you're making no sense sixdegrees.
"And so? Can you still name any album that came out prior to this that legitimately sounded like it?"
No, I can't. And?
Zombicidal, I don't think it matters exactly how/where the noise was produced. The fact is that it is there.
