What we commonly refer to as agnostics do tend towards the non-belief side in my experience anyway.

Fair enough, it's just that a lot of people who label themselves agnostic I've had conversations with and it turned out they are really atheists. It's as if they were using that word to describe themselves to appear more polite towards religious people.
