"Even Mockingbeat..? That’s like the worst thing they’ve ever done. I don’t mind the others."

Arguably the worst interlude they've ever made, you are excused haha

tool interludes are equivalent to creepy uncle jokes
like, there are good ones and you can choose to sit in the corner and wait for them, but that makes you a nobody who chose to sacrifice time with savoury members of his family to hear something no-one really wants repeated

Alone under an early morning half-moon, a Scottish student in Japan sips his coffee; a wilting rose nearby mirrors the state of heartbreak in his mind

The rose stands for the beautiful melancholic nostalgia that is so characteristic for Japanese media, something we both enjoy.

I think for the rest you smarties have cracked the code.

Tool interludes are shit, but they don't hurt. They allow low IQ people to suck-in the genius of their songs, that is their sole purpose. I mean, just imagine if you're a poor naive soul who haven't heard Tool before and there was no interlude between Invincible and Descending, your fucking mind would EXPLODE. Low energy people need breaks, otherwise they break.

"If I do shit on more bands than others, it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants." said the Newton, Isaac.

Hey LunaticSoul, I only allow myself to criticize crappy bands because I know I'm based, one as based as you should know to never fight me. Vicarious is my favorite song of all time after all.

'One half-moon coffee teaching Black Flag Japan rose brain cat?'

A cat went to the moon in order to learn about Japanese rose petal tea recipes from the indigenous big-brained species living there, not wanting to waste an opportunity in becoming the first feline to set foot there, he planted a black flag to mark the occasion. His people welcomed him home a hero and much love was had all-round. The end.
