I don't know if it's better. For me all Tool LPs (except Undertow) are a 5 at this point. I very much enjoy every single album equally.

Not anywhere near as good as Lateralus but album turned out to be way better than I ever expected. Actually worth the wait for me, which is was hoping with all my little might would the case.
