I mostly still dig the last three songs on three cheers

tbh the only songs I can barely stand on that album are Ghost of You and Hang Em High. The former is more forgiveable but ugh, it's still pretty bad

Album Rating: 3.5
agreed, especially I Never Told You What I Do For A Living. By far the best song they've ever produced

you're too young to have experienced the cringe teenage phase that this was a part of

The whole scene/emo thing seemed to blow up a decade late in my town (2013-2014ish) so there was still a whole load of annoying teenage girls fangirling over MCR, FOB and similar bands. I swear if someone over 20 came to where I live during that time they probably would've thought they'd gone through a time warp.
Oh but the album still rules
|
| |
last year i was in an afterschool yearbook club where literally nothing happened and it was chuck full of freshmen playing mcr outloud on their phones and shit
i still have this and danger days on cd, but i havent touched them in so long

The only song that doesn't do a whole lot for me is "I don't love you" and "Teenagers" but the rest is pretty solid. I'm a sucker for concept albums though.

Album Rating: 3.5
The concept here is much weaker than the one on Three Cheers

Album Rating: 4.0
You think so? I've always had the opposite feeling. It doesn't seem like there is a discernible path the character takes, whereas on Black Parade you can definitely catch the different scenes.

Album Rating: 5.0
The concept here is more concrete than on three cheers
And this is more consistent/better
