oh dude I'm gonna be all over that shit like a bad shirt. only "weird" in the sense that they're opening for Arm's Length instead of the other way around imo.

I def gotta see them live asap. Need to check on that honestly. They gotta be playing near me since they’re out of Atlanta. Glad to see this make the top 3. It was probably #4 for me. My top 5 was really like Sput’s top 4. Just insert Geese at #2. I think this was the year I was most invested in since 2013

God that song rules so fucking hard. Probably my favorite along with Mona Lisa, Lemon, and Schizo Legacy
Glad to hear they’re playing it live, hopefully they do it on this Arm’s Length tour

I think I finally got this album figured out. Tbh I don’t really love Tears on Lambo Leather, Demon of Unreality, or Douchebag Safari (which sucks because that’s such an amazing song title), to me all three feel disjointed despite not really having any parts that I outright hate… they just reached a little further than their grasp with some of the stylistic changes imo. Demon of Unreality specifically, like guys, you can just make a two minute heater, you don’t gotta do this clean interlude that doesn’t really fit. Maybe save that idea for another song down the line… because again I really do like it, it just doesn’t *fit* imo
I’ve come around big time on the closer. I still think it meanders a little but I mostly love it.
That said this album is wicked long. It’s seriously impressive how many different ideas they managed to fit on it, but man 57 mins is so goddamn long for something like this. Album almost feels exhausting, I think the “Opt Out” track was a mistake too, you already got a long ass closer and then you stapled this cute little prelude onto it and made it damn near 15 mins which is just too much.
But again, goddamnit I love so many songs here. Everything aside from those three I mentioned is killer but it’s like they had two albums worth of ideas and tried stuffing it all into one project.

I’m fucking stoked to see them live. I saw them twice right after Celebrity Therapist dropped, seeing Title Track live with like 30 other people in the building is legit something I’ll never forget, and I’m even more excited to see some cuts off this record.
Tho I do really hope they play Title Track. I think this album is their best for sure, but I don’t know if they’ll ever top that song. To me it’s one of the best metalcore (whatever) songs ever.

yeah, I saw them in Columbia a few months after CT in the old tiny-ass New Brookland Tavern. that place had unreal aura.
