I'll addressed this specifically then, Demon... yeah, it's absolutely fine not to like an album or not tow a popular line. The issues people have with this album (arbitrary transitions, etc. etc.l are perfectly fine... whatever.

But are we truly pretending that there isn't an ongoing pattern of elitism, whereby something underground gaining mainstream popularity causes some kind of revulsion on these forums?

Difference of opinion, whatever... I genuinely don't give a fuck about that. What doesn't seem to be genuinely accepted is simply *enjoying* something for what it is, without some kind of tacit insult for having basic bitch taste.
