Well yeah the opener and the great curve are better than anything on 77' but that record is far more consistent in quality whereas the second half of this is patchy to say the least

basically 77 just has this feeling to it, this funky groovy energy to it that makes it more fun to listen to than this, it's quirkier and zanier, and its definitely more consistent than this

new feeling and no compassion are better than anything on this album, even born under punches
