"Kinda want another album like Juggernaut Alpha or P3 next tbh"

felt, I want them to do something conceptual again. Minus the P3 part.

Honestly the only critique I get of P3 is that there wasn't enough focus on melodic elements, but even the amount we got was great.

This album does break a 4-album streak of the closer being either the best song or top 3 on the album, because Thanks Nobuo's pacing is really weird and I kinda wish this was more concise and ended with Zagreus. This would be my fave Periphery album if it ended there.

dracul is the only major highlight for me here but i do think zagreus should have come after it and been the closer. drop nobuo and silhouette (and the worthless worthless interludes) and i might still have this 4d

Dracul's cool, but definitely some of my least favorite Spencer melodies. Don't drop Silhouette that's one of my favorites here. Jugg Alpha is close to #1 for me tbh

Christ.

Oh you mean the cheesy key change? That's honestly cool, 80s-esque and different for them. Dracul just kinda feels like a retread of everything they did before, but with bizarre lyricism - I honestly thought he was saying "The children of the blood goat for the one eternal"

they put absolutely no effort into that key change lol theres no transition or build up or anything

also the vocal production in the bridge right before then is nauseating

Not even the key change it's the bridge before that's just abysmal.

"TO PURGE THE CELLLSSSSS" ugh, awful.
