Sorry man, nothing against you. I just have utter disdain for this band. It doesn't help that some of the people I grew up with held this band in the highest regard too.

Yeah these guys are my best friend's favorite band. Pretty much the only reason I started listening to them in the first place.

My friends love this and I'm perfectly cool with it, but it's their ignorance and how they refuse to listen to anything else and acts like A7X are gods Is what annoys me

Some songs overstay their welcome, but overall this is def A7X's best work. [2]

MIA is really great.

^ The guitar work is pretty good, but it has a really lame chorus.

The prechorus sucks. The actual chorus is rad. "I won't be a victim...."

Ye lol, the 'trashed and scattered again' part blows, not the other bit!

I try to ignore M. Shadows part and focus on the backing guitars, which are phenomenal in that song

Lol, you just lowered your rating for this, Talons. Their self titled and Nightmare were decent 3's-3.5's too, eben though people will disagree with me on that

I lowered my rating for all of them because they were way too high. Comically unoriginal music and lyrics and the grating singing and lack of replay value from how sterile and recycled everything is does not a great album make. Though to be far that describes their others more than this, which is prob a 3.25 because riffz. And awesome drumming

Yeah, I don't blame you, this really is nothing special but it's so much better than the pile of crap that is Hail To The King. It's got some fun moments too and good guitar moments, so I'd say it's a solid 3.5

I don't think there is anything "comically unoriginal" about this album. It's really solid, and a complete departure from their earlier sound.

Their later work fits that description better. (I realize that's kind of what you said, too).

Their die hard fans piss me off more than anything else. Yeah, I agree with Krieg. At least this has touches of originality, unlike the entire Hail To The King
