They can be seen as trying to do too much or "wankery" I guess which is in fairness a valid complaint at times. I personally have loved a lot of their work and they are a hell of a time live. To each their own, if people dislike em that's their decision. I wouldn't let it get to me, I love this album and most of their stuff. Wasn't big on Coma Ecliptic or anything after till this though.

Yea they definitely take the wankery past the "weird but sounds good" level to "just fucking weird" level too often. That said, looking forward to what these guys do next. Feels like we're due another release soon-ish.
