I don’t know about objective, old album averages are just skewed by a different set of biases, for example what the internet at large thought of an album in the first couple years of Sputnik’s existence plus how persistent some regulars were in hyping up the album. I would argue that albums like Elvenefris or Mabool are grossly overrated, or leaving metal, El Cielo. The first two had unstoppable hype trains overflowing from places like metal archives or ultimatemetal, etc, and the latter was promoted heavily by some staffers or regular users like Nick Greer
