Don't worry...don't be afraid to learn how to like stuff...its not like you'll hate Opeth if you dig Tool a bit more...We are not in the 90's or early 00's anymore man. I know, for a personal experience, that most of times is just our ego working.

...anyway for what's worth...slog and repetition fade away with a close listen, simply because no riff is alike section to section...absolutely never...its a very cool game to play if anything else...also there's restraint and beauty drenched all around this.

I know we can't all love Tool...and its great we all don't...cause it means the World is right...I'm sad ppl with minds like mine don't see (or not willing to) what I see...but that's ok...other time in 13 years maybe.

Funny how the artwork immediately bugs me less when that god-awful text is gone. I remember someone asking Alex Grey if that was just the artwork for the single, and he was like "there's more to come" and I was expecting a classic cover artwork.
