Six 3.8's in a row is pretty wild.

Very consistently solid I suppose

Opeth would win if Deliverance was 4.1 or above, otherwise I think Neurosis or Black Sabbath's first six is the winner

Deliverance is pretty good too. It's nowhere near my favorite, but I think it might be a tad underrated.

The average for Deliverance is around where it should be. But they have a 4.2+ average rating streak of like 6 albums, aside from that one in the middle with 3.9

I haven't even rated Deliverance, apparently. Lol, what if I rate it a four and it tips the rating???? Yeah, right.

Deliverance is at 3.89 with thousands of ratings, so it's probably set in stone

I know, I know. I probably wouldn't give it a 4 anyway. I wish we could do tenth variations on ratings like staff can.

I'd say it's worth a 4. Some parts go on a bit long but each movement is excellent, especially the middle run of songs

Gah Deliverance is like 3.5 tops for me, just too many parts that sound boring and trudging to my ears.

If this opened with Onyx and closed with Oiseaux De Proie it would be a 6/5.

I agree, actually. I don't mind Onyx too much as a closer, but probably just because I'm used to it now. It doesn't add much, but does feel like a come down.

I actually feel the same way also. Considering they open the shows w/Onyx on the PAs before the band comes in w/the title track, I wonder why this wasn't the case on the album.

Yeah, don't know why they decided to do it this way. Onyx had me so pumped when it opened the show. It was perfect.

Oiseaux is seriously one of the best tracks they've ever done omg. His drumming skills really show on that song too, as well as Eclosion.

I don't think I've ever looked up any of Neige's lyrics. I kinda don't wanna know honestly, heightens the mystique of the music for me.

Corps éthérés

Vêtus de serpentine

Que portent des mains

Aux griffes acérées

Monstres chassant gorgés

De rage primitive

Rangés aux pieds

Des arbres qui respirent

Terre meurtrie

Malade en son sein

Grondant et versant

Son souffle volcanique

Oiseaux de proie

En armée d’enfants-bêtes

Qui s’apprêtent à venger

Leur mère à l’agonie
