yeah ful stop my song of the year so far ridiculous track through and through

identikit is baller as well but i can see what people say about its progression, it peaks too early with "broken hearts make it rain" though the finishing solo is still beautiful and a throwback

Nice one Boney, that one's been around since the day I first made a list

but seriously Ful Stop's not even top half of this album c'mon

In a way this album didn't need epics like Burn the Witch and Ful Stop, maybe it would have been better if it was just chill from beginning to end.

Burn the witch is awful and the worst song they've done in the last 12-13 years

Burn the Witch is definetly one of the weak spots from this record, so I kinda agree

Well yeah Burn the Witch is the worst on AMSP at least

But Radiohead fan's need for a lovable epic has totally made people overpraise Ful Stop, which to me sounds so predictable and forced compared to most of the album. I bet if you took Ful Stop and Burn the Witch off the album, a lot of the album's "flaws" wouldn't be as bad.

It'd flow better because there wouldn't be 2 epics in the first half, yet 0 in the second half, the album would feel more thematic since it'd follow that mellow string oriented trend more prominently , and yeah that's my interpretation, albeit a possibly flawed one, but hey I'm one of those people who wasn't asking for them to incorporate old OK Computer ideas.

Just a doubt Ars, why you insist in calling them epics?

Because they start out slow and eventually evolve into loud exciting upbeat tracks, Ful Stop does this almost formulaically

Ok I get what you mean, I was curious to know what is an epic based on your standards.
