like, I see where it's coming from, cos she's this oddball chick who's gone against the grain in some ways and set about to do what she wants in her own vision but I'm not sure her story is one that would be exclusive to women when you consider where some bands have come from.
and as far as this album is concerned I get vibes of self-overcoming and growth in confidence more than anything else. but I see where the feminism stuff is coming from, in that she's controlled her image etc
