Maybe I'll just give Still Life a 5 and bump my BWP rating, I'd say that album's a bit better than this in retrospect but not quite on the level of my top 4.

Ooh, hard pick. It's a tie between Ghost Reveries, MAYH, Morningrise and... Heritage. Depending on the mood. Yes, I'm one of those. But I mostly say MAYH.

SL and BWP are definitely 5’s, this one and MAYH have an argument to be rated that high but personally I think each one has a couple of minor weaknesses.

I think that SL and BWP have their weaknesses actually. I'm not as excited by them as I used to be. I've gotten somewhat fed up with Face Of Melinda (although it's beautiful), don't really like Moonlapse Vertigo, can't stand Harvest (should be cut in half), and both SL and BWP feel a bit too long to me nowadays.
Personally, Morningrise, MAYH, GR and Heritage are pretty much flawless to me. I don't skip any tracks on those, look forward to every moment.

Yeah I mean it’s splitting hairs with some of these because it’s arguing about whether you should really like and album or really really like an album. You lost me on heritage though. It’s better than what came after but still a sloppy mess compared to what came before.

I thought the same way about Heritage when it came out, and it took some years for it to grab me, but boy did it hit hard when it finally did.
