and it was boring. Poison the Well is pretty much the reason why we have all these post-hardcore/metalcore bands today that
chug for days and have 4 breakdowns per song.

Hi I'm dumb and think every album is completely isolated from time and space and there is never anything called influence or seminal bands. Poison The Well pushed boundaries and changed the metalcore landscape. Also, they were chugging and doing breakdowns long before it was beaten to death.
