I think Life Like Weeds might be their saddest track though because it's so intentional. Stuff like Cold Part just seems really lonely, and third planet is depressing, but Life Like Weeds is just sad as fuck.

Alone Down There gets me a lot actually
It makes me think of a friend I used to have that was constantly depressed and on the brink. Had three people among her friends and family commit suicide and many self-harmed. It just hurt to watch it all happen, see this person so alone and not be able to help at all.

Alone Down There just seems to over the top to me, his vox is too weird
Again this definitely feels like BHAR to me, where they focused a lot on atmosphere but sometimes they go to far with the more melodic sensibilities. But I'm starting to feel that way less and less so who knows.
Also sorry to hear that. I luckily don't know anyone like that.
