Could you imagine? Yiannis & Craig performing a duet of 'Cassius' would be O-Some.

4'd it. I'll consider 4.5ing it if it still has the same replay value in a few months.

The radiohead references were only to get the review noticed. ;-) Nah, it's seriously worth a listen Piglet, but you need to listen to their debut as well - first, if possible - in order to know the progression they have made.

I noticed it sneak up your 2010 Top 10 Dougie. It probably would have been a slow climber for me as well, had I not reviewed it - and besically had to listen to it multiple times.

Exactly my feelings. But I can see how one may be initially underwhelmed with this if you didn't hear their debut.

It depends. It probably would have still been well-received IF people gave it the chance... But I think when you are surprised by any album on 1st listen, the natural & sensible inclination is to give albums more detailed listens.

Yeah, Radiohead are a good example. Oops, there I go comparing Foals to Radiohead again.

When he said "from the same pile of shit", he means Oxford.

Miami doesn't do a great deal for me.... Black Gold is the real grower of the lot. A shame it gets dwarved by SS though.
