I feel you. I skipped Torture because after Evisceration Plague I was finally ready to be done with CC once and for all, but then someone told me Skeletal Domain was really good and it was. Felt different, like an artisan Big Mac instead of the regular one. That said, I'm not even slightly excited for the next album.

Cannibal Corpse gets too much shit tbh. Yeah, they aren't the best DM band, but they're far from the worst. They do put out nearly the same album every time, but like it was said already, if it's not broken, why change it? I don't listen to them too often because of that reason of being kind of samey, but they're still a fun listen from time to time.
